THERE were some tough games this week in the Totnes Skittles League- unfortunately no double floppers, although lots of spares.

Diamonds had a really tough game with Meadowbrooks gaining 10 spares against Diamonds two, one of them being from Diamonds’ newest player Ruby Hollett (aged 12) scoring a 12.

Jess Lewis from the Meadowbrooks scored 92 with four spares, Tracey Slatter had the top spot in the Diamonds with 70.

All Stars lost by three against the Fordetts with Lorraine Edmonds scoring 84 with three spares and Mother and daughter players Mandy and Leah Sharland from the Fordetts both scoring 77 having four spares between them.

Alleys Cats won against the Outsiders with Sara Ellis scoring 86 with two spares and Georgie Northway as a borrowed player for the Outsiders scoring their top spot with 78.

Odd Westons lost to the Gems, with Julie Evans scoring 78 with two spares and Angela Worth scoring 79 with two spares. The Gems scored seven spares with Dianna Davis taken top spot with 83 and two spares.

Wizzards scoring 491 against Panthers 417, father and son Christopher and Adam Stolworthy both scoring 88. Matt Monaghan from the Panthers scoring 78 with his son Cameron not far behind on 77.

Fords scoring 448 against TRFC 424, both teams had six spares apiece but TRFC had two unlucky ones of a nine and a 10. Paul Trant from the Fords scoring 84 with three spares and Jamie Bullock from TRFC 87 with three spares.

Woodpeckers 472 against Bullets 439, eight spares for the Woodpeckers and six spares for Bullets. D. Chapman scored 95 with spares an 18, 17 and a 15 with Sean Prowse scoring 90 with two spares of 16 and 17.

Millers scoring 465 against Offcuts 450 with Chris Camp scoring 85 with two spares and U23 Freddie Tippet scoring 71. Owen Vooght scored 88 with three spares for the Millers and Steve Robinson scoring 87 with three spares.
