SDFL division three

Meadowbrook Athletic 10,

Teign Village 0

Despite a month’s break due to Christmas and unfit pitches, Brook continued their remarkable goal-scoring record on Saturday when they completely overpowered and outplayed the moorland visitors.

With Brook going 2-0 up within the first 15 minutes of the match, it was always a question of how many they would score.

Despite missing many regular players they duly obliged with a sackful, with the goals being scored by Kai Fenner (five), Chris Fry (two), Myles Chalcraft (two) and Jack Callaway.

For many teams in this league Brook are just too strong – solid, no-nonsense defending at the back, a creative midfield and a forward line with pace and proven goalscorers mean that Brook are pushing for promotion and the outcome is in their own hands.

Brook supporters are reminded that next Saturday they travel to Dartmouth for what will be a critical league match with a 2.30pm kick off.

Brook currently sit on top of the league but need to keep winning to stay there.
