TOTNES Bowling Club held their annual ‘Bowls4Fun’ Charity fundraising day on Sunday, August 31, with the dress theme being red, white and blue.

Despite the run of heavy rain, part of the event still took place between the showers. The club BBQ went ahead with many members and their families taking part.

Over 60 people attended, all contributing and raising money- there was a giant raffle and some auctions too. Funds were being raised for two charities in 2025, Huntington Disease Association and Stroke Association.

The annual captain vs presidents match in July also raised funds for the two charities. The monies raised over the two charity events was a total of just over £1000.

Each charity will receive £505.10, one of which was presented to a champion of the Huntington’s Association at the close of the day’s events.
