THIS week saw the end of the ladies Totnes skittles league with the Fordetts finishing on top with 231 points and the Outsiders second with 229 points.

There was another high score with Georgie Northway getting 98 with four spares, Sara Neville had 88 for the Alley Cats, Sonia Edwards 84 for the Diamonds, Angela Worth 80 for Odd Westons, Margaret Saxon 76, Sarah Life 79. Meadowbrooks started off strong with Jess Lewis getting the first spare of the game which set the precedent of the game and they won by 44 pins.
Diamonds started the game with Sonia Edwards with three spares in the first four ends but the Gems pulled it back especially when they achieved 49 on their last end.
The Outsiders and the Fordetts game was a fight for the title and even with the win for the Outsiders it wasn't enough points to take the lead from the Fordetts.
Onto the men’s side and Offcuts’ Chris Camp top-scored on the day with 103.
Fords 493-446 Wizzards Bullets 447-438 Millers Wrecks 445-392 TRFC Woodpeckers 454-416 Wasp Offcuts 458-433 Panthers Fords kept up their winning streak and did so by 48 pins. Meanwhile, Millers and the Bullets played a steady game and with the Bullets achieving 61 pins, they prevailed.
TRFC started off strong in their game against the Wrecks but spares from Darren Hodge, Dave Westerday and Mike Westerway flipped the game on its head.
Woodpeckers won their game against Wasp this week and had a 70-pin end in the middle of the game, Alex Green had an impressive 94 with four spares.
The only tonne of the week came from Chris Camp from the Offcuts this week with 103 and he had four high-scoring spares. Tightly fought game from both teams but Offcuts took the win.
