Totnes Friends of Palestine brings together people of diverse ages, nationalities, faiths, and backgrounds (including local residents from Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and secular backgrounds).
They host regular Friday busking sessions in the Totnes market square—raising significant funds for organizations like Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) and other humanitarian projects such as health clinics and youth initiatives.
The group regularly host community film screenings (such as Life Support, Bye Bye Tiberias, and other documentary works) at local venues like St John's Church in Bridgetown and the Totnes Cinema, often featuring book exchange stalls and guest speakers.
They also organize peaceful marches, vigils, and awareness demonstrations in Totnes to call for ceasefires, humanitarian access, and an end to the occupation in Gaza.
