After a brief respite from the back-to-back weather warnings, the South Hams is about to be hit once again by heavy rain and wind.
The Met Office has issued yellow weather warning from Friday, February 28 until Sunday, March 1.
The Rain is expected to hit at 3 am on Friday till 6 am Saturday with the Yellow warning for wind coming into effect across the South West and the rest of the country at noon on Saturday till noon on Sunday.
What to expect with a yellow rain warning:
Heavy rain causing some flooding and transport disruption.
Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer.
Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
What to expect with a yellow wind warning:
Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely
Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely.
It’s likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities affected by spray and large waves.
