Drugs were seized during town centre operations in Totnes and Brixham.

Officers from Brixham, Paignton and Totnes, along with drugs dog, Holly, and her handler, carried out multiple visits to licensed premises around Brixham and Totnes.

A number of people were detained and searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act and quantities of controlled drugs were seized, revealed police.

A spokesman: ‘Many thanks indeed to the staff and patrons of the premises visited for their co-operation.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who is concerned about illegal drugs or drug-related crime in their neighbourhood.
