While I was walking along the rat-run that Totnes High Street has become, I was clipped on the elbow by the side mirror of a van, which did not stop.

This is the third time I’ve almost been mown down here and wonder how many other people have suffered a similar experience.

I used to really enjoy shopping in Totnes but I take my life in my hands now every time I go into town.

I hope the people who campaigned to change to switch back the old one-way system are very proud of themselves for totally ruining what was a lovely little town centre.
