Across the South Hams, Christmas decorations are coming down ahead of Twelfth night.

It is said to be unlucky to leave decorations up beyond this time.

Also known as Epiphany Eve, it is a Christian festival on the last night of the Twelve Days of Christmas marking the coming of the Epiphany where in the New Testament the Three Kings came bearing gifts for baby Jesus.

The difficulty is some people take Twelfth night to be tonight and some tomorrow night depending on whether you count it from the night of Christmas Day itself.

The choice is yours!
