Entries for the 2019 Youth & Business Awards are now open.

The annual awards celebrate outstanding workplace performance by young people and their employers.

Entries are open to anyone aged 16 - 25 in any form of employment along with any businesses who employ young people in the South Hams.

Anyone can nominate a young person or business for an award, including friends, family, employees and employers.

Self-nominations are also accepted.

The award categories are:

· Apprentice of the Year - Sponsored by Sabre Financial

· Apprentice Employer of the Year - Sponsored by Start Point Law

· Employer of the Year - Sponsored by Bibby’s Plumbing & Heating

· Employee of the Year - Sponsored by Pebbles of Salcombe

· Young Entrepreneur of the Year - Sponsored by Play Area Hygiene Services

· Volunteer of the Year - Sponsored by Pizza Planet

Nominations will be considered by Rebecca Weare, James Spencer, Simon Gotch and Rob Holmes.

The 2019 awards will be held at Thurlestone Golf Club on Thursday, November 14.
