South Hams residents are being warned to brace for more high winds today as the Met Office issued a yellow warning.
Lasting from 10am to 7pm, the weather service said that a swathe of very strong winds are likely to move across the far south of England.
Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely; delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges are likely; and that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities are likely to be affected by spray and/or large waves.
