Hats off to smart kids

By Steve Peacock in Local People

Children and staff at a Plympton day nursery have enjoyed a week of colourful activities inspired by Easter and the arrival of spring.

Throughout the week the children had an Easter egg hunt every day around the nursery’s garden, as well as a daily Easter bonnet parade, with winners from different age groups each receiving an Easter egg.

Nursery manager Tracey Callan said: “This is one of our favourite times of year – not only are all the rooms awash with colour thanks to all of the bright, creative Easter projects the children do, but also it’s when spring really does make an appearance.

“With delicious Easter eggs to be won as well, what’s not to love?”
