The entire league would like to thank Keith Steer for his superb venue and his hard work, not just for the winter season, but the summer league as well. They say that behind every successful man is a woman and in that regard we thank Keith’s wife Ann for her continued support.
I wish to thank the other clubs in which we play, namely Totnes Conservative Club, The Club at Modbury and Meadowbrook Social Club, who have upgraded their facilities to provide a new cloth to the table and much improved lighting.
We also thank Mr Paul Sherriff, who again refereed all the finals.
We are witnessing a gradual improvement in playing standards which has somewhat changed the results.
