Students show their creative sides on stage

PLYMPTON’S Hele’s School is looking forward to its upcoming production of a much loved musical.

Guys and Dolls in February is hotly anticipated, though it will be tinged with sadness as the school says goodbye to two drama stalwarts.

A school spokesman said: ‘We are very fortunate to have two students in the cast who have been a part of all musicals throughout their time at the Hele’s. This will be their last before they move on to study drama and theatre studies at university.’

The school described Emily Witts as ‘a very creative and diverse actress’. Emily is going on to study drama, working on performance skills, theatre history and stage craft.

Noah Jones, Hele’s ‘resident stage and lighting designer’, will be moving on to study lighting design.

The spokesman continued: ‘Not only has their time and involvement in extra-curricular activities helped to shape and mould their career choices, it has given them a platform to gather experience within the industry.’

Guys and Dolls runs from February 20-23 at 7pm. To reserve tickets please contact the school on 01752 337193.
